Maximum depth from Ref. 132434. Intertidal to subtidal, on soft bottom (Ref. 106854). Also occur along crevices of rocks or in sponges, to depths reaching 50 meters (Ref. 132434). Found amongst Mytilisepta virgata beds on exposed rocky shores (Ref. 126136).
