Carapace is dark brown with light brown patches. Ambulatory legs are also brown, with darker bands on carpi and propodi. Chelae light orange to orange, with the fingers being darker. Ventral surfaces of cephalothorax and ambulatory legs light yellow, with numerous fine brown spots.
Part of both arboreal and epibenthic communities in mangrove areas (Ref. 128397). Occurs in the mid intertidal area of mangrove stands. Observed climbing and walking on the barks of Kandelia obovata and Aegiceras corniculatus (Ref. 130597).
