Shell is white to creamy white, with greenish brown speckles and streaks. Dorsal-most edge of the longitudinal ribs of central areas characteristically greenish brown or brown, giving the shell a streaked appearance. Girdle is white, with irregularly banded groups of light and dark green scales. Valves subcarinate. Dorsal scales are large and moderately inflated.
