Shell is black, with some patches of white. Jugal region with white and black stripes and some light reddish brown coloration. Girdle appears banded due to the distribution of white, brown, and black scales. Valves are quite flattened, rounded, and eroded.
Found in exposed rocks covered by Sargassum (Ref. 128661).
