Chelifores and Palps: absent in adults. Ovigers: 4-9 segment with large terminal claw present in adults only. Diameter of legs: large in relation to length. Trunk: large in relation to length. Proboscis: stout, never longer than trunk. Female reproductive organ: egg maturation confined in the trunk not in legs. Genital openings: only present in 2nd coxae of lst pair of legs. Body surface: mostly warty apperance.
