| Comments | There is a paucity of information available about the marine ecosystems and biodiversity of the Pacific Islands Region. Therefore, the objectives of my work so far have been to highlight and identify what we do know about cetaceans in the region and therefore establish a baseline of knowledge. I'm now working actively to increase in-country capacity and educational opportunities, establish ways to mitigate threats, and to promote and undertake cetacean conservation research. | |
