Known as one of the most abundant shelf inhabiting Antarctic shrimps (Ref. 86805). Minimum depth from Ref. 086881. Generally found in the shallow shelf resting on sponges but also present at 500 m in Lazarev Sea (Ref. 78580). They live epizoically on sponges, particularly on the side facing downwards (Ref. 2660). Adults are purely carnivorous (Ref. 86807).
