Family:  Nephropidae (clawed crabs)
Max. size:  25 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 122 - 1735 m
Distribution:  Southeast Pacific, Southwest Atlantic and Antarctic Atlantic.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  It has lengths of 8 to 25 cm TL; 2 to 10 cm (mostly between 3 and 6 cm) CL; 3.4 to 7.4 cm CL ovigerous females (Ref. 4). Maximum depth from Ref. 105127.
