Environment:  pelagic; marine
Distribution:  Atlantic Ocean, Indo-Pacific and the Antarctic: Circumpolar, southern hemisphere; South America.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Feeds on several species of fish near the the bottom in deep waters (Ref. 1394).
