Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific, South Atlantic, and the Antarctic: Circum-Antarctic. Climate: subtropical to polar.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Members of the phylum Priapulida are gonochoric. Life cycle: Eggs develop into benthic priapulid larvae before turning into adult (Ref. 833).
