Max. size:  2.54 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; marine
Distribution:  Northwest Pacific: Japan, Korea, and Hong Kong.
Diagnosis:  Oval shaped; colored dirty white which is irregularly spotted or streaked with pink, brown, bluish-green and black. Girdle: Broadly extended at anterior end; color is creamy yellow to light brown blackish bands. Surface of girdle: Densely covered with minute, drop-shaped, pointed spicules, sparsely interspersed with long, smooth bristles which have long, stout brown or olivaceous spicules (Ref. 283).
