Family:  Octopodidae (octopuses), subfamily: Eledoninae
Max. size:  18 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 4000 m
Distribution:  Southern Atlantic and Antarctic.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Mantle length is 6 cm (Ref. 96968). Inhabits both shallow and deep waters (Ref. 1975). Known from a depth of 0 to 4000 meters (Ref. 96968). Recorded once from deep waters on muddy bottoms (Ref. 106242).
