Distribution:  Northeast Atlantic: Canary Is. and UK; North and Celtic seas.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Epibenthic (Ref. 87524). It is a mobile, deposit feeder (Ref. 96498), that forages on organisms in the sediment, a predator to swimming organisms and scavenges on crabs and polychaetes (Ref. 96589).
