Diagnosis:   
Biology:  In laboratory conditions, adult females can live for an average of 77.8 days with a mean of 406.8 eggs produced (Ref. 82815). Typically inhabits shallow brackish (Ref. 82818) and marine waters (Ref. 83308). Semi-sessile and capable of subsurface suspension and deposit feeding (Ref. 82807).
