Distribution:  Cosmopolitan.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Minimum depth from Ref. 116013. Estuarine (Ref. 116013). This is a brackish-water hydroid that temporarily tolerates pure saltwater. It is found on a variety of substrates, including bivalve shells and barnacles (Ref. 87801). Colonial (Ref. 19).
