Family:  Squillidae (squillid mantis shrimps)
Max. size:  10 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; brackish; marine; depth range 7 - 127 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Maximum depth from Ref. 80410. Prefers sandy, shelly or gritty mud and gravel substrates (Ref. 3099); and it is found on red mud with Foraminifera to grey sand with algae (Ref. 80410).
