Distribution:  Northern Atlantic, Arctic and the Mediterranean Sea: Germany, Denmark and Canadian Arctic Archipelago. Temperate and subtropical.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Main food based on another species of the same genus; to be replaced with a better reference (Ref. 87872). Members of the phylum Bryozoa are hermaphroditic. Both fertilization and egg brooding may either be internal or external (Ref. 833).
