Remarks	Inhabits shallow waters (Ref. 3113), at depths of 0 to 20 m, in kelp holdfasts of Macrocystis sp. and Durvillaea antarctica (Ref. 87801). It feeds on the tissue of kelp holdfasts (Ref. 87801).
