Remarks	Members of the family Nephtyidae can be found in all sediments, but most common in soft sediments. They are all burrowing, sub-surface deposit feeders (Ref. 107426). Considered active subsurface carnivores, although there are also records of surface deposit-feeding (Ref. 108042).
