Remarks Benthopelagic (Ref. 97531). Found on mud, sand and shell substrates (Ref. 104060). Fishes prey on this crab (Refs. 34001, 55089, 104230). In general, portunid crabs are reported to be mainly carnivorous (Ref. 72665).
