Found in low tidal to 30 m, on rock (Ref. 337). Living on rocks from low-water mark down to 6 m or 8 m and between tide-marks, fairly plentiful in places (Ref. 88739). Members of the order Archaeogastropoda are mostly gonochoric and broadcast spawners. Life cycle: Embryos develop into planktonic trocophore larvae and later into juvenile veligers before becoming fully grown adults (Ref. 833).
