Western Central Atlantic: Bermuda.
Found in subtropical and tropical forests; also in coastlines of sand, shingle or pebble shores. Occurs on the upper shore-line; also occurs below low-water level in mangrove swamps, under stones or matted algae. On land it occurs in moist earth under stones on hillsides (Ref. 7800). Members of the phylum Nemertea are mostly gonochoric. Life cycle: Eggs hatch and develop into short-lived lecitotrophic larvae before metamorphosing into juveniles and further into adults (Ref. 833).
