Found among algae or hydroid Eudendrium annulatum near the low tide mark (Ref. 907). Also found on wharves with bryozoa, ascidians and barnacles. Feeds on amphipods (Ref. 966). Members of the phylum Nemertea are mostly gonochoric. Life cycle: Eggs hatch and develop into short-lived lecitotrophic larvae before metamorphosing into juveniles and further into adults (Ref. 833).
