Eastern Pacific: Endemic to Easter Island.
Found on rocks in tide pools and at water's edge as well as in wave-surge areas (Ref. 87884). Members of the order Neritopsina are mostly gonochoric and broadcast spawners. Life cycle: Embryos develop into planktonic trocophore larvae and later into juvenile veligers before becoming fully grown adults (Ref. 833).
