Central Pacific and Western Atlantic.
This species is found in brackish, fresh and marine waters in the supra- and intertidal areas. They are particularly seen on ascidian, coral, rock, sand and seagrass habitats (Ref. 83934). Members of the order Neritopsina are mostly gonochoric and broadcast spawners. Life cycle: Embryos develop into planktonic trocophore larvae and later into juvenile veligers before becoming fully grown adults (Ref. 833).
