It has lengths of 10.3 cm, max. total length; 8 to 10 cm, ovigerous females (Ref. 39). Occurs at depths of 470 to 1804 but mostly between 900 and 1400 m with muddy bottom (Ref. 4). Members of the order Decapoda are mostly gonochoric. Mating behavior: Precopulatory courtship ritual is common (through olfactory and tactile cues); usually indirect sperm transfer (Ref. 833).
