It has lengths of 15.6 to 17 cm, total length; 5 to 6 cm, carapace length (Ref. 4). Occurs at depths of 511-728 m of mud bottom (Ref. 39). Members of the order Decapoda are mostly gonochoric. Mating behavior: Precopulatory courtship ritual is common (through olfactory and tactile cues); usually indirect sperm transfer (Ref. 833).
