Southwest Pacific: Kermadec, Lord Howe, and Norfolk Islands, New Zealand, and Australia.
Known from immediate subtidal to 30 m, in sand (Ref. 337). Living in sand among rocks (Ref. 88739). Members of the order Neogastropoda are mostly gonochoric and broadcast spawners. Life cycle: Embryos develop into planktonic trocophore larvae and later into juvenile veligers before becoming fully grown adults (Ref. 833).
