It has a total body length of 18 to 25 cm (Ref. 4). Occurs at depths from 300 to 800 m with a bottom temperature of 5 to 11.9 C (Ref. 4). Members of the order Decapoda are mostly gonochoric. Mating behavior: Precopulatory courtship ritual is common (through olfactory and tactile cues); usually indirect sperm transfer (Ref. 833).
