Depth range is based on occurrence in New Zealand (Ref. 100457); to be replaced with a better reference. Dead shells dredged abundantly in 10 m to 30 m on gravelly bottom near Sunday Island (Ref. 88739). Members of the order Neotaenioglossa are mostly gonochoric and broadcast spawners. Life cycle: Embryos develop into planktonic trocophore larvae and later into juvenile veligers before becoming fully grown adults (Ref. 833).
