Total length: 9.7 to 12.0 cm (male); 13.1 to 14.5 cm (female). Maximum carapace length: 3.4 cm (male); 4.0 cm (female; Ref. 8). Occurs at depths from 33 to 46 m in marine environment. Tropical climates (Ref. 8). Members of the order Decapoda are mostly gonochoric. Mating behavior: Precopulatory courtship ritual is common (through olfactory and tactile cues); usually indirect sperm transfer (Ref. 833).
