Western Central Atlantic: Belize, Panama and Jamaica and North America.
Known from cienaga facies, coral reefs, mangroves, offshore areas, on sandy substrates (Ref. 83934). Found on rocky intertidal and hard subtstrates (Ref. 109264). Members of the order Patellogastropoda are mostly gonochoric and broadcast spawners. Life cycle: Embryos develop into planktonic trocophore larvae and later into juvenile veligers before becoming fully grown adults (Ref. 833).
