Found in a bioturbated, foraminiferal-rich, olive gray sandy mud; weak bottom current; in a variety of silty, sandy and gravel sediment samples; it is also attached to stones and boulders (Ref. 2004). Members of the class Monoplacophora are mostly gonochoric (Ref. 833).
