Depth range is based on occurrence in the Philippines (Ref. 101147); to be replaced with a better reference. Inhabits gravel on sandy bottom or among coral rubble (Ref. 101147). Members of the class Bivalvia are mostly gonochoric, some are protandric hermaphrodites. Life cycle: Embryos develop into free-swimming trocophore larvae, succeeded by the bivalve veliger, resembling a miniature clam (Ref. 833).
