It is found at about 25 m deep in the continental shelf, encrusting on Reteporella magellensis and is epibiotic on large zoaria of other bryozoans (Ref. 87801). Members of the phylum Bryozoa are hermaphroditic. Both fertilization and egg brooding may either be internal or external (Ref. 833).
