Occasional bycatch (Ref. 349). Low tide fringe. Common in shallow water. Occurs at the low tide mark (Ref. 349). In general, members of the family Ficidae are carnivores (Ref. 67623). Members of the order Neotaenioglossa are mostly gonochoric and broadcast spawners. Life cycle: Embryos develop into planktonic trocophore larvae and later into juvenile veligers before becoming fully grown adults (Ref. 833).
