Maximum carapace length: 5.6 cm (Ref. 8). Prefers mud and sandy mud bottoms (Refs. 8, 83922) (Ref. 8). Members of the order Decapoda are mostly gonochoric. Mating behavior: Precopulatory courtship ritual is common (through olfactory and tactile cues); usually indirect sperm transfer (Ref. 833).
