This species is found in intertidal and offshore coral reefs, mangroves, seagrass, cienaga facies, bays and coves, particularly on algae, boulder, coral, sand, rock and gravel habitats (Ref. 83934). Members of the order Patellogastropoda are mostly gonochoric and broadcast spawners. Life cycle: Embryos develop into planktonic trocophore larvae and later into juvenile veligers before becoming fully grown adults (Ref. 833).
