Southeast Pacific: Easter Island and Sala y Gómez. Endemic to Easter Island.
In deeper water and in crevices during day, at night crawling on rocks in tidepools (Ref. 87884). Members of the order Neotaenioglossa are mostly gonochoric and broadcast spawners. Life cycle: Embryos develop into planktonic trocophore larvae and later into juvenile veligers before becoming fully grown adults (Ref. 833).
