This is an attached (Ref. 3123), and epibenthic species (Ref. 95730); most prevalent in macroalgae such as Laminaria spp. and Fucus serratus and found in intertidal areas. Trophic level: 1.5 (Ref. 96418). Members of the phylum Bryozoa are hermaphroditic. Both fertilization and egg brooding may either be internal or external (Ref. 833).
