Mid-dorsal spines: absent. Lateral spines: present on segments 4 and 7 to 11, with adhesive glands at the L-4 and L-7 base. Lateral accessory spines: dorsally adjacent to L-10. Lateral terminal spines: very long, ranges from 140 to 176 um, 62.5 to 89.8 % of trunk length; absent in males. Three pairs of penile spines present in males (Ref. 1409).
Recorded from seagrass areas and mixed coral sand, shell and rubble (Ref. 1409).
