Southeast Pacific: Probably endemic to Chile.
It is found on rock substrates from the lower intertidal to a depth of 25 meters (Ref. 87801). Members of the order Patellogastropoda are mostly gonochoric and broadcast spawners. Life cycle: Embryos develop into planktonic trocophore larvae and later into juvenile veligers before becoming fully grown adults (Ref. 833).
