One of the smallest alpheid and caridean shrimps (Ref. 79760). Found on corals reef walls, in crevices of dead corals and in coral rubble on sand and gravel (Ref. 79760). Members of the order Decapoda are mostly gonochoric. Mating behavior: Precopulatory courtship ritual is common (through olfactory and tactile cues); usually indirect sperm transfer (Ref. 833).
