Collected from the sublittoral zone, from low tide up to a depth of 200 m (Ref. 2754). Minimum depth from Ref. 124754. Occurs in low intertidal to deep circalittoral, on hard (Ref. 124754) and soft substrates (Ref. 114530). Collected from the sublittoral fringe during spring tides (Ref. 124753). This is a free-living species (Ref. 3123). It is a grazer (Refs. 96498, 124754) and predator on sessile preys (Ref. 124754).

Members of the order Archaeogastropoda are mostly gonochoric and broadcast spawners. Life cycle: Embryos develop into planktonic trocophore larvae and later into juvenile veligers before becoming fully grown adults.
