Distribution:  Western Pacific. Tropical to temperate.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Attached to hard rocky substrata on continental shelf banks, along with an array of invertebrates such as other lithistid sponges, molluscs, bryozoans, brachiopods, echinoderms, hydroids, and stylasterid hydrocorals (Ref. 89546). Found on the upper slope (Ref. 106682). Filter-feeder (Ref. 68823).
