Formation: hemispherical to flat. Valleys: sinuous or straight; with average width of 35 mm, often separated by a narrow groove. Walls: thick, fleshy. Septa: thick, with large teeth. Columellae: usually in 2 rows. Color: brown, green, or red, with contrastingly colored valleys and walls (Ref. 848). |
Occurs in exposed upper reef slopes (Ref. 848). |
