Distribution:  Arctic, Indo-Pacific, Northeast Atlantic, Mediterranean and Antarctic Atlantic.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Burrows in sand and hard bottom; and among algae from the intertidal to abyssal zone (Ref. 775). Intertidal to abyssal (Ref. 19)
