Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 5 - 25 m
Distribution:  Eastern Atlantic and the Mediterranean.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Depth based on occurrence (Ref. 2758, p. 805); to be replaced with better reference. Minimum depth from Ref. 2703. Infaunal, occurs in the infralittoral zone. Found on sand, sandy-mud or mud. Prefers well-sorted fine sand (Ref. 82278). An active suspension feeder (Ref. 96376).
