Max. size:  6 cm SHL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 3 - 12 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: from the Andaman Sea to Melanesia; north to southern Japan and south to New Caledonia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  On rocky shores. Also found in shallow subtidal waters (Ref. 349).
