Distribution:  Atlantic Ocean, Arctic and the Mediterranean.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  This species is found in fine, well sorted sand (Refs. 2780, 96521), mud, and gravel substrate and rocky shores from the intertidal zone to a depth of 2120 m (Ref. 87872). A non-selective, burrowing surface deposit feeder (based from a species under the same family; Ref. 87179).
